That always happens. The usual suspects look forward to the rape and abuse of prisoners rightfully doing their time.

It's a certainty in every discussion of crime--and it's interesting to note that it also comes from those who otherwise are proud to call themselves "bleeding hearts."

Unfortunately, these morons will likely do fine in prison. I have a friend who worked for the prison system and she says informants/snitches are considered the lowest and are in most danger of being harmed or killed. Pedophiles/child abusers are sometimes targeted. Animal abusers might be if there is an animal loving criminal, but those are usually few and far between.

I just don`t understand how people (if you can call then that) can be so cruel.

They enjoy killing things that cannot defend themselves, it makes them feel big and powerful.

Its not exactly 'sport' when its a human hunter against an animal. LOL

Not to rain on anyone's sad little fantasies of prison violence, but this guy isn't likely to run across any outraged animal lovers in an Alaska jail.

Which, with that sentence, is likely where he'll be and not in prison.

The forfeiture of his vehicle and equipment can be considered part of the fine.

I agree and I also find it outrageous that this crime isn't a felony.

I read in the ADN that local LE are fairly well acquainted with him; thought you might have run across him in the course of your work.
