The police needs to be involved? Seriously?

Police want to identify a woman they say is badgering college women to date her single son.

The Baltimore Sun reports that a woman in her mid-50s has been visiting the campus of Towson University in Maryland pestering female students. The mom reportedly approaches her victims, shows them a photo of her eligible son and asks if they are interested in dating him.

Calling him a "Mamma's Boy" would be the understatement of the decade.

I'd probably be switching colleges if my mom did this.

Lamest use of the word "victim" ever.

Guilty! Just kidding.

My oldest was a high school senior last year. We teased him because he had quite a few girls hitting on him and asking him out. I had a couple of mom's approach me about him taking their daughters out. I found it awkward, but amusing.

Just because the Mom is behaving as if he is a "Mamma's Boy" doesn't mean the son is a "Momma's Boy." As far as I see, the son is nowhere around when the Mom is doing this. For all we know, he has no idea she is doing this--in fact, he may HAVE a girlfriend or boyfriend, and she just may not like her (or him).

Geez! Way to jump to conclusions about the son on the basis of absolutely no evidence of his behavior.

You may be right.

But I get the impression this is not Tiger Mom's first rodeo.

Mom may also want to get her son out of her hair, and in to someone else's. But I agree with everyone else, involving law enforcement was a bit over the top. Put the Mom on ignore and move on.
