If it can stop somebody from dying I'm ok with it. Seriously, it's ok. I have a beer instead.

I understand them wanting to do this so those with allergies can go to a game, but wouldn't this make the game more dangerous? Now there's a false sense of security since everyone there assumes not a single nut is in the park, which is near impossible to enforce.

That's like saying it's less safe to ban guns, because everyone will assume there's no guns when someone might sneak one in. I can't see how it could possibly be less safe for someone with a peanut allergy to have less peanuts around them.

Kind of like those mass shootings in gun free zones?

Gun free zones are not anything but a sign. It is not at all the same as banning guns from a building and having it enforced.

Do you think they will frisk people looking for peanuts as they enter the ballpark?

They simply announced they arenít selling Cracker Jacks anymore. Itís not them making it into a Big Brother mountain, itís you guys. I mean really, places stop selling products all the time. They used to sell beer in glass bottles and cans, too. Is it really that important?

I remember cracker jacks and getting very few peanuts and thinking there should be more.
I hate to see it go, but I agree with the safety issue.
I’m just wondering why there are so many nut allergies. When I grew up we never even heard of them.

They already check any bags when going to games. This will just be added to the list of things security checks for.

The is a de-evolution of the human genome. In natural selection a nut allergy gets bred out by the holders not being able to breed and dying off.

Instead of following the natural process we propagate it and make it spread.
