I know you're trying to act all worldly, but geez, I'm not the one who likes to listen to music about how bad poop smells.

I've never heard the term in a rap song. We used he term as far back as he 90's in the Army. As in: I'm going to blow that porta potty up. Don't go in there.

Just Google "blow up toilet" memes. You'll see.

And how "worldy" do you have to be to understand current lexicon. Again, get out more. You sound like the old lady talking about those darn kids.

Just a matter of time before someone does this on an airplane, and then the real fun would start. ;D

Just don't go blowing up any toilets at the airport or you will be blowing them up in prison.

I haven't heard that - if that's the case, well, the rest of us don't know what that means - maybe you should use that phrase only at home with people who understand you.

Edited to add: Yep, and here it is. "Blow up the Bathroom", current rap song.

Lovely lyrics. Who, over the age of 8 years old, wants to hear that stupid song?
I had a coworker who used a derivative of that phrase.

Stay there if you want, guy. I'm leavin'. And telling the employees on the way out.
Its common sense that the person was likely talking about taking a 'healthy' bathroom break...thats what I would think if someone told me that anyway.

Besides that, how much sense would it make for someone who truly wanted to use explosives to blow something up, to tell someone thats what they are going to do..and to a bathroom no less? LOL Cmon!!

This just shows how scared and frightened we are, as a society, ANY mention of the words 'blow up' are viewed in the literal sense?!!

Maybe you need to "get out more" if you've never heard the term in a rap song.

My husband and I will often say something like "I'm about to set a stink bomb off. Fair warning."

Maybe it's an unfortunate choice of words in a public setting, but it's a common enough colloquilism.
