When we order food online, seems like everyone now, it'll show you how long it's going to take to get your food. So say you're ordering pizza from Pizza Hut. You place your order, and then it'll show you that the food is being prepared, and then it'll show you when the food is on the way, and how many minutes until delivery. Uber Eats and the other food delivery companies operate pretty much the same way. So...if you're supposed to be at my house in 15 minutes, but instead you're out 1/2 an hour...I'm going to complain to someone. And I HAVE done that.

We used to order pizza from Pizza Hut generally every Friday. We always had the same delivery person, and she was always late, and it was less than hot. After 3 or 4 times of this, I called the Pizza Hut and complained. I'm half convinced she was using the time to toke up.

I think it would be a lot harder to get away with getting peeved and driving past the person's house, or making it the last stop, even though you're just 5 minutes away, etc.

I gotta say, I really think the term 'Adulteration of Food' fits this act perfectly!

I can certainly understand firing the guy for doing this...but notifying the authorities? Did it really reach that level of seriousness or harm? Not really imo...yea it was gross, but calling cops to deal with this kind of thing is just dumb.

So, I assume this was Uber Eats or similar? I don't use it, so perhaps someone can explain.. Why would you tip PRIOR to service being provided? Is that how it works? I mean, I don't think I'd want to leave a nice tip and then the service is crappy..

If the tip is left at time of delivery.. How did they know the tip was only 89 cents?
They'll often add the tip on the check - probably did so over the phone.

Even if they rounded up the bill by .89 what's to say they were not going to give a cash tip on delivery?

This is most likely just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the sort of thing this antisocial creep has done and will do in his life.
