yes, it's been all over the news. It's despicable in my view for the news to make such a big deal out of the arrest. If he never had bought the cookies, then his arrest would have been treated just like any routine arrest--perhaps not even in the news at all, or nothing more than a routine thing if it was in the news. But thanks to his generosity, he attracted attention and thus ended up on CNN. News reporters, not cool.

Its unfortunate the Girl Scout organization agreed to cooperate with law enforcement on this...they should have just thanked the guy for buying so much from these girls and told law enforcement to go harass someone else.
I wouldnt be surprised if law enforcement tries to seize the $540 AND the cookies now!

It's not like the Girl Scouts are able to do anything to help. The guy paid in cash. They didn't even know his name.
