He hit a woman full force repeatedly for her yelling at him? At best he could have yelled at her and scared her off. There is a "violence culture" in society now. Many walk around angry, disconnected from others. Ready to swing over the slightest infraction. People record these many times, and its put on a video compilation where people watch over beer and chips. Crazy world we live in.

Maybe it's been going on forever, but just wasn't being recorded. The cell phone era is still very new.

I think the victim thought she was relatively safe because there were plenty of witnesses. Kind of a "He's not going to do anything in front of all these people." She didn't call it right.

Hope they find the guy. Clearly, he's dangerous.

I agree. I canít understand all the comments shaming the women for not minding her own business, especially since you only see the last few seconds. Even if she should have, that still isnít an excuse for a man that big to punch her in the face with brass knuckles.

I also agree with the other comment that she likely didnít think heíd do anything with so many people around so she felt emboldened.

The only thing to see evil triumph. ..is for good men to do nothing....

Using caution though is away to do something

All it would take is two days of following the fiancee to find the assailant.

People forget and think they can talk to anyone anyway they want to. Well if you are not careful you might just punched in the head a few times. I am not saying the man was correct, he was not. But dang, you have to know your place or you will get beat up. Nature is ugly man, but not as ugly as man.

That goes around too though doesn't it. You sucker punch someone in that way and if you are not careful you might get shot a few times. I am not saying that would be correct either, but it would indeed be a reaction to being viciously assaulted by a thug using illegal weapons.
You have to know your place or you will get shot.

Same concept as what you wrote, but from the victim's standpoint. She did not harm him or even threaten to harm him.

So is it unthinkable that she (or someone else) might exact some revenge for an unprovoked assault, and do so by escalating her action far out of proportion to what was inflicted on her?

Just something to think about. Before you get physical ask yourself how much risk are you willing to accept as a reaction to your action?
