Glad to see that the jaguar won't be put down for reacting to the woman's stupidity, but will the woman be prosecuted for harassing the jaguar?

This forum isn't that much better
Often times these stupid mistake end in the death of the animal. The one minding its own business, being what it is, then some human comes along and does something stupid and BAM the animal is euthanized.

Of course. But don't expect posters who conflate stating that she should have expected what ensued with delighting in someone's suffering, to understand that point.

The only innocent being in this incident was that great cat--the one whose brain should have been no match for a human's.

These cases make me wonder just who belongs in a zoo.

I feel bad seeing that gash, which must have hurt, but have no sympathy for stupid. Aside from bothering this animal, did she really think the Jaguar would be happy to pose for a selfie? Common sense seems to have disappeared.

I never do selfies or even a family photo in front of caged animals. I just don't feel right putting my face behind caged animals that are in captivity.

The selfie generation is well on its way to holding the record for most Darwin awards.
