Note: NOT a Darwin candidate as this person has non life threatening injuries.

Quote:
A woman suffered serious injuries to her arm after being attacked by a jaguar at Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium and Safari Park, just outside Phoenix, on Saturday.

The woman was attempting to take a selfie when the animal reached out and swiped at her, according to the Rural Metro Fire Department.

The zoo said the woman crossed a barrier in an attempt to get the photo.

Oh, for heaven's sake. I get tired of hearing about entitled people who think their actions shouldn't have consequences. She got exactly what she deserved. Two points for the jaguar!

She deserved a swipe if she was outside the boundary for visitors.

This is just plain stupid.

She crossed over the barrier to get a better picture. Duh!

I'm glad the zoo isn't talking about destroying the animal.

You all must believe in a punitive God, too...all stupid mistakes in judgment
deserve a gash on the arm, eh?

I'm glad the panther is in a nice zoo and not being poached....funny how different minds can be.
Just an observation. Here we are on the same thread, probably in the USA ...and so different.
