I usually do a "April Fools" topic, didn't think about it this year, just as an aggregate for all the interesting/funny/dumb April Fools things that come out.

Google used to do one every year.. I haven't heard of them doing one in quite a while. Those were really good because they'd do an April Fools thing for 2 or 3 years, then screw with everyone by announcing something REAL on April 1st. I think GMail was originally announced on April 1st, if I'm not mistaken.
I always used to come up with a good April Fool's joke message every year. But I haven't felt the need to do it for the last three.

Reminded me of this, I don't know why:

Some people have no sense of humor. Even on April Fool's Day.

I recall seeing that nasty looking stuff at grocery stores when I was a kid.

Even if I don’t particularly care about MD, I’d still be pretty annoyed knowing that this was such a tease.

I didn't see where people were angered by this joke but I wouldn't be surprised since the sense of humor is disappearing.

I expect in the next few days we will hear about some fool that tried to fight their way through the Drive Thru window because they were denied a pickle burger.

It's hilarious that a) people thought the pickle burger was really going to be added to the menu and b) people were mad that it was a joke because they were really looking forward to trying it!

Well, it is Australia, after all.

Those heretics put slices of beet on their burgers! (and don't get me started on vegemite)

In comparison, pickles seem pretty tame...

The "meat" in that loaf is probably brains, eyeballs and intestines.
