Naw. I'm sure if there was even the slightest chance of WW3 exploding in our near future the MSM would be exaggerating the signs and blaming the end of life as we know it on Trump.
Mid east interventions have nothing to do with being "good guys", it's about oil.
As far as wwIII, I think it's inevitable, all tied to reasons of impending economic meltdown. I'm not a doomsayer, I'm just expecting the worst and hoping for the best, but without much hope for the near future.
Ah yes THEEE PENDING ECONOMIC MELTDOWN. How can we forget. I put that along with the Zombie Apocalypse and giant asteroid hitting the earth as things one should prepare for.
You aren't a doomsayer, you just are expecting the total collapse of humanity. No problem, prepper forum is probably for you... http://www.city-data.com/forum/self-...-preparedness/

Actually, the time to "be afraid, be very afraid" is when the MSM gets real quiet.
The place to watch right now is India/Pakistan. If the balloon goes up, that's where it will be.

It’s all linked... Our entire foreign policy history since WW2 has been a disaster across all regions and all parties.
In Trump we trust. The guy has faults, but war-mongering is not one of them. Bolton has a place -- sometimes his 'tough talk' is what is needed - but I for one am sick and tired of us getting involved in every other country's problems. Venezuela loved their Socialism -- now they can pay the price. Not my problem.
US has a Monroe doctrine- basically making US “ in charge” of the Western Hemisphere...
And the military doctrine of total domination in space, in the air, at sea and on land- courtesy of US taxpayers.
The last time that I can remember the Monroe Doctrine being widely cited was during the Cuban Missile Crisis, in 1962, when it appeared nuclear war was a very real possibility. The Big Stick approach worked then, with Khrushchev leading the USSR - not sure how Putin would react, should it come to that.
Khrushchev was hot-headed when it came to what he would not always accurately perceive as insults to the Motherland - Putin is ice-cold, not as reactive as Khrushchev could be - but somehow less human than Khrushchev, who was approachable and had some appealing personal qualities, despite his flaws.
It is simply amazing the hype and concern some get over stuff like this. Russia and China send a plane or two of stuff, all of a sudden WW3 is in the horizon, lol. I cannot even begin to understand the logic behind it.
The US sends troops to any place where someone even sneezes wrong, and not even a thought, Russia and China sends troops to a long standing partner, in which they have billions of dollars invested in, and have their citizens in country doing various work on their partnership projects, and the country has internal unrest, and some people in the US freak the hell out.
Plus, pretty embarrassing, to think that there are people in the US that view the US as so weak, a plane full of supplies and military personnel is a threat to the US.
Nobody wants the world. Even Hitler had no designs much beyond Europe's borders. Sure, you can opportunistically pick a few low hanging fruit on unimportant continents, but it is never a war-worthy priority.

Ive always heard the real time to start 'running for the hills' is when our leaders and MSM say everything is fine, nothing to worry about!
