China is trying to save a sinking ship. Venezula owes China huge amounts of money. They won't get ANY of their money back if the situation doesn't improve for Venezula.

I'm no policy expert, but it seems like, to me, that it would very much be against China's interests to engage in war.

I doubt if anyone involved during, or after, will care very much what it's called.

One thing is clear though, once WW4 comes around, it will be fought with sticks and stones! I dont think there is any disagreement on that!

But no, there is no pending World War III over Venezuala. Put away the tin foil noggin cover. Why is Russia and China so concerned? Venezuala owes them billions, they want their investment back (they probably won't get it back in any event with the country collapsing). But there won't be any war over it, that's just silly.
China is a mercantile country, anything bad for business they don't do, and war is bad for business. And Russia? It's a 3rd world gas station run by the Russian Mafia, masquerading as a country. The mafia don't do war, they do hits.

By the way your last statement about next war with sticks and stones you gratuitously stole from Albert Einstein (or at least it was attributed to him).

Hated how the article was written, and it sounded like nothing but amateurish hyperbole to me.
