It's going to take one heckuva "other side of the story" to justify that and tapping on her daughter shoulder wouldn't be one of them.

Oh well, I agree with you in either regard that we'll just let a jury sort this one out once someone from the strip club she probably works at identifies her.
Like I've said before, the mom was criminal. But we don't know that the elder lady was as sweet and innocent as she's made herself out to be. We don't know that she just gently tapped the child with one finger. For all we know, she grabbed the child's shoulder and started hurling insults and instigating a confrontation. Just because she's 81 doesn't mean she's incapable of initiating something.

This sort of thing can happen at the grocery store, in line at the bank, in the mall, etc. Are you just going to lock yourself in the house?

If I was waiting in line at a theater, and an 81 year old lady walked up, I would be happy to let her ahead of me. 81 years old and able to get out, and as expensive as movies are, can pay for it, some at this age are not able to do either. Yes you can go ahead of me. Dont like it, sorry. Besides, If you're 81 you should get in free.

So true. I know a 92 year old who has never been a sweet old lady in the twenty years I've known her. She has a building named after her and pictures with the governor. She gets by because people back down because they want to think she is nice.

I know, right?! People who think all elderly people are nice don't get out much.

You take the side of the person who does not physically assault someone after already proving to be a line-jumping ****.

But you don't know that the other party didn't have anything to do with escalating the situation.

Not to mention, there's no proof of line-jumping. Again, one side of the story.
