Yup, as per usual post everything on social media first before contacting the people responsible for it. Social media shaming, whatever did people do in the past with no internet?
A petition calling for the termination of a second-grade teacher at a Pennsylvania public school has garnered more than 7,000 signatures after a social media post regarding her feedback to a student went viral.
Chris Piland took to Facebook to voice his displeasure with his son's second-grade teacher at Valley View Elementary School — identified as Alyssa Rupp Bohenek by the Scranton Times-Tribune — after she wrote a remark on a math assignment.
As a special education teacher I am appalled at that teacher’s note. Knowing how school admins operate- social Media may be the only way to have a bully teacher addressed if he or she is part of the in-clique at the school.
It’s long been proven that shame does not motivate, it demotivates and encourages people (especially children) to quit. This teacher needs some serious re-training and to reconsider her career choice.

Additionally, it appears he completed only 11 in 13 minutes (good counting, teacher!) and then was given some extra time to complete more. Hence, the first 11 are marked above the pink line.
That looks like one of the timed math sheets that you do over and over where you basically memorize the answers if you can't do the math in the allotted amount of time. I've never understood the real purpose of this test. I don't blame the kid for not getting further on it. I don't know the general attitude of the child either. Maybe there is a legitimate defense for the teacher??? Some of the scariest/worst teachers I've encountered are the ones who always have a smile on their face and will never say anything bad.
Social media seems to be the only recourse with schools. If you try talking to them you get "talk to the hand." You could lawyer up but that takes years and money so the issue is really moot before it's settled. Bringing down the wrath of social media might be the only option when dealing with schools.
Timed tests sound like a horrible idea for a 2nd grader in principle.
