It does make you wonder how often that happens and a missing-person report is the only thing that is filed. But I wonder how many people know that is what is done to them, before they're cremated?

I can't believe there were no safe guards in place to prevent such an accident in this day and age..where is OSHA on this one?

Not really. I knew of a guy who fell into a large vat of acid and couldn’t pull himself out. His death was one of otherworldly screams until he expired. There are many horrific ways to die, and having your flesh dissolve off of your bones must rank near the top.

Didja hear about the butcher who backed into his meat grinder? He survived, but he got a little behind in his work.

Being eaten alive by something would probably top about anything, especially slowly.

I know someone who died by falling into a meat grinder at work. He was one of those guys who always argued that he could smoke cannabis and it didn't affect his work a bit. Maybe it didn't, but it sure affected his life.

I have always wondered if Mad Cow Disease started when somebody disposed of a Creutzfeld-Jacob infected corpse in a feed plant grinder.

I think the guy who got cooked at the tuna processing plant was possibly worse.

These accidents should not be able to happen, at all. There should be failsafes to avoid these horrific and deadly accidents. If I had a job that involved an industrial meat grinder, I'd want to be sure I never find myself in a position where I could even get a hand caught in it, let alone fall all the way into it.

I can't imagine what her family is facing now.
