Exotic pet websites in the US are full of ads offering kinkajous for sale. A baby was sold to idiots with too much money while it was cute. It either escaped or they let it go after deciding they didn't like their clothes getting peed all over, being bitten, clawed, dealing with hormonal aggression/frustration, or having their house destroyed. Poor thing. It isn't wild and it isn't dumbly docile. It no longer knows to avoid humans, but to seek them out. If someone doesn't kill it it may end up spending a sorry life in a sanctuary already crowded with other discarded amusements.

All I can write is, it wouldn't have happened if he wasn't in the country.

You think every single thread is about your pet political obsessions, don't you?

Ms. Hicks seems to have no idea what "bum's rush" means.

Ha! I actually thought of the Christmas Vacation skit when the squirrel got into the Christmas tree.

BTW Praline, thank you for the get well wish. I'm feeling much better today but I'm still not at the top of my game, if there is such a thing at 70.

The two animals in the middle of the article look like monkeys, because -- well, they're monkeys, not kinkajous. Here's a picture of a kinkajou:
