I just started doing this too, and it's great. I actually hate going inside the actual WalMart I use because it's so huge, but it's fine for pickup. The only thing I don't buy there is produce, but I just go 1 minute away to Wegmans for that.
Some of the shoppers do a poor job with substitutions though, like giving me turkey breakfast sausage when they were out of turkey burgers. ShopRite let’s you leave notes, and they call if they’re out of something to ask what you want instead. But that’s why it costs more lol. I wish Walmart would enable notes though.
He attacked an elderly woman with his coworker in the truck just feet away. That he didn't manage to kill her immediately was just an accident, because he certainly tried.
His comment does make sense. If this were a gang initiation he wouldn't have done it with a witness nearby who knows him and can rat him out.
This wasn't drug or gang related, he just snapped and went berserk. Why? who the hell knows, the mind is complex.

We will all have to wait until the police disclose a motive.
Since when is gang initiation about going directly to jail, do not pass go? IF he's not crazy or impaired by drugs, or whatever, then he'd have been aware that committing his crime with his coworker right there would lead to a conviction. Pretty sure there are less risky ways to kill someone than to attack them in the presence of a witness in the driveway.
You realize my original comment was about possible gang initiation, not the murder attempt itself?

That's a good idea. I know someone who shops for Whole Foods, they can't substitute. They have to tag their bag, I don't know if the supervisor then calls or not.
sun-sentinel.com/local/palm-beach/boca-raton/fl-ne-miami-delivery-man-prior-arrest-20190823-2aiszaido5dw3oiabmmakjc5pa-story.html says the 21-year-old suspect had a prior arrest for stealing a cellphone when he was 19! I don't when consecutive sentencing vs. concurrent sentencing should take place, outside of mass murders and sex crimes, but what this 21-year-old did might warrant consecutive sentencing.
