"Crazy Dog- hating cranks" are not born hating dogs -- it is learned behavior. We learn to hate dogs because of the frequent exposure to misbehaving dogs, and even less-excusable behavior of human dog owners.

I'll guess drugs, cash, and illegal guns.

Remember how strange the statement is the next time you see a dog walker jerk and drag one on a leash behind them as if it were a toy, which is a common sight today.

I don't like pit bulls and they don't like me.
I have no problem with golden retrievers, they have to be the friendliest dogs on the planet. They won't even scratch a flea, they'll politely ask it to leave, while trying not to hurt its feelings.

To bad no one had a concealed carry permit so the witnesses could have tried to shoot the dogs to help save the poor girl.

Yes, it is too bad. Many Knoxvillians have concealed carry permits. Half of my friends do. I want to get mine but I don't want to sit through an 8 hour class on a Saturday lol.

It's not garbage. The dogs didn't have a meeting and decide to not have a fence, not be trained to follow commands, and not be walked on a leash. Trashy people have trashy dogs.

I am sure that may happen in some situations, perhaps more so in some parts of the world than others, but surely you also understand that the majority of people have grown up with mostly positive associations with dogs whether it is by growing up in households with them or relatives, friends and neighbors owning them. I told the story earlier in this thread about how I was cornered and nearly attacked by an angry big dog as a child, but how encountering friendly dogs later on allowed me to place that into context.

I gave her a point. Not everyone wants to raise children or own dogs. That's fine with me. Not all children are screaming brats, and not all dogs are uncontrolled killers. You're either a responsible person or you aren't.
