Hey at least she didn't pull a Bobbitt on him by cutting it off, taking it with her and finally chucking it in a field.

It is a fact that men are stronger than women. It's biological. You can Google search this and read about it in medical sites.

True. Men have more muscle than women. They also have longer arms. Also, the hormone testosterone helps them out.

Well, she's going to prison, unless she's mentally deranged. It's possible they have an abusive relationship, like the Bobbitt case, and she snapped.

They recovered his thingie, though, and preserved it for the surgeons. Bobbitt's penis was able to be re-attached.

Generally speaking yes, but not in every instance and I'm amused that everyone here just assumes this to be the case. For all anyone knows the husband could be like my ex, 130 lbs wringing wet, and not that hard to take down in a fair fight (at least not for someone who grew up with a bunch of brothers and an ex marine for a dad).

Women have, on average, roughly 50% of the upper body strength of men and 70% of lower body strength. I thought that was common knowledge.

^ Jeez peez, I'm not stupid, but hey we aren't talking 'in general' here are we? We are talking about this particular story and unless there are pictures or something in an article that says otherwise I don't know why they're so amazed that the wife could tie her husband up. He could be physically smaller, he could have been drunk, or asleep, any number of reasons. But sure, let's just assume that women are always weaker than men, regardless of circumstances.

There are 130 lb men out there that are insanely strong, like elite powerlifters.

I guess you have a point. It's still a valid question though. It's quite normal to wonder how a woman managed to tie up a grown man.
