This truck stop has a history of keeping animals in less than ideal conditions. A tiger that was imprisoned there for years has finally died.

That was the first thing I thought of, wondering if it was the same truck stop.

Yeah. Where's PETA and the Humane Society when you really need them?

Oh get off of your high horse! Everyone has those days where you end up biting a camel's testicles at a petting zoo outside of a truckstop once in a while. This poor woman was simply caught.

People have been trying to shut him down for years, or at least get him to release the tiger to a sanctuary. The Animal League Defense Fund, for one, had filed several requests and lawsuits in order to free him. The tiger was never released and ended up being euthanized there. I just read that he was 6 months old when brought to the truck stop, and spent 17 years there before being euthanized.
