Tushar Atre, the Santa Cruz-based tech executive who was kidnapped from his home on Tuesday, is dead.

Hours after Atre was taken from his home early Tuesday morning, sheriff’s deputies found the white BMW he was last seen in, along with a dead body, miles inland from his coastal home. While authorities did not identify the body on Tuesday, the sheriff’s office confirmed that it was Atre on Wednesday.

I don’t think you can just go by former disgruntled employees. I’ve seen Glassdoor reviews of my company (that I work for, not own lol)that I think are just sour grapes. Judging by the pictures, looks like he had a lot of friends and got the most out of life it look like he made every day adventure. So good for him for that. Wonder if he got involved with shady people? Doesn’t seem like a ransom request was even made.
