The deer was in search of his kin
Those folks got scared out of their skin
They then yelled at the deer
" You're not welcome in here "
So he left the way he came in.

CRASH...

OMG the look on the woman behind the counter's face is priceless. I'm glad the waiting customer wasn't badly injured. Poor dear ... I mean deer.

We've had deer in Manhattan before. They occasionally swim across the Hudson. They usually don't make it past the Henry Hudson Pkwy, but it does happen.

Staten Island has many deer as well as many many wild turkeys. We also have falcons, coyotes, raccoons, vultures, possums, etc.

My mother-in-law used to be an elementary school teacher, and they had a deer walk into the school once. That was through an open door, if I recall correctly. But deer are also fooled by reflections in windows, which make the glass seem like an extension of the outdoors. There are many instances, some caught on video, of deer coming in living room windows.

Salon.

Not saloon.

Yes, deer are very versatile and can live in a wide variety of environments. White-tails range from Canadian boreal forests a thousand miles north of the U.S. to the deserts of the Southwest to the tropical rainforests of Panama. They do quite well in metropolitan areas that have at least a bit of green space, and get along nicely in suburbia - lots to eat, few predators, and no regular hunting.

If those deer horns can break glass, that deer could have easily gored the lady or the guy. The cars scared it into the salon. If I were a deer, I'd run for my life too if a car might hit (kill) me.

The question now is, will the Farmers Insurance guy use this for a commercial? They say their commercials are from actual claims.
