I’m looking for one. But all models are out of stock. This is insane. Bike manufacturers need to really up their game, otherwise quit advertising that they have 2021 models. Just say they have nothing to sell.

It's nuts this past year. So many things are out of stock, not just MTB bikes. I'm also looking for a new MTB bike, but all my local shops don't have any of the ones I want in stock. They have all the hardcore carbon, full suspension bikes in the 4000-9000 range. I know someone in the bike industry and he can't even get a bike for his fiancé using his discount. I hope all these manufacturers/suppliers get back to business as usual soon so they can supply the demand.

Not really, I have two friends who work in different bike shops, in fact one of them is an owner and the shortage all has to do with the Covid !

Disruption in manufacturing and shipping + everyone buying stuff during the pandemic rather than going to the gym and to alleviate boredom since there's so many things they can't do. I had a hell of a time finding a 105 cog and chain. Fortunately I have an old cross/commuter bike and a second road bike but that's pretty crazy. You can always get cogs and chains. The local LBS is plumb out of just about everything. There's limited supply of e-bikes but not a whole lot. Otherwise, they're just pretty much of anything that's not a really abnormal size. There's the odd 60 cm $12,000 S-Works or whatever but that's about it, pretty much nothing at any price between a 52-58 cm. It's not so much that they deliveries are all that slow anymore either. They were for a while but they've been getting pretty regular deliveries for a long time now and selling more bikes than normal even though they almost never have anything to sell. Whatever they get sells in a few weeks if not days
