Nice bike, B4L. anntinasia, welcome to the thread and enjoy your 7200. Treks rule!
fisher, glad to hear your fitment issues are much improved!
I'll unfortunately not ride my bike for a few days. I'm going on a little road trip. But when I return on Sun., I plan to do some riding, esp. now that I have some lights.
I also got a new helmet. Not b/c I broke my primary one, but b/c I figured a new bike deserves a new helmet. I may post pics of it upon request (but not 'til Sun. or the next time I get a chance to log onto C-D).
Have a great riding weekend, everyone!

In my garage collecting dust waiting for me to go ride it to the grocery store or off-road. I bought a new Cannondale road bike but I miss my old cool pannier I got from NYC.

We had a new Sprouts open up near my house, next to RBM at Coit & Campbell. I went to the grand opening and commented to my cashier that if they really want to present themselves as a GREEN business, they ought to install a bike rack out front. I said that they were in an area populated by many cyclists, being next to Bike Mart and across the street from UTD. Since the shopping center where Sprouts is, is literally at the end of my alley, albeit a long alley, I said it would save me from driving one of my hummers to just pick up some organically-grown broccoli and bean sprouts. After realizing that I was yanking her chain a little about the hummers, she said that was a great idea and would pass it on. Yesterday, I saw a brand new shiney bike rack out front.

cool! that's great panterra! way to make a difference. do you have an extra sturdy lock or what? i'm afraid to lock my bike up outside anywhere. is there something out there that's theft proof (short of taking the entire bike rack).

Wow, great job on the request! Can you please make a trip to FW and make similar requests to other stores here? I actually made a similar request last month at a movie theater about 10 mi. from my house. They don't have bike racks, so I wound up locking my bike against a Handicap parking sign (which is what an employee suggested). I didn't feel too comfortable w/ that, but it worked. I'm not going to hold my breath on the theater installing a bike rack.
More importantly, I wish FW had bike-friendly paths on the road. Sure, we have the Trinity Trails, but that's more for recreational riding than commuting.

Not really, just a thick combination cable-lock. If I am going to be somewhere a while, I might take in the seat post, it has a quick release. I wouldn't leave my road bikes outside if I take it somewhere. I have a lot of money in those. I guess it all depends. My Mtb is set-up with high pressure slicks so it makes for a great urban assalt vehicle and it has a nice little "Trunk."

Nice Move PT. I wish some folks would be as responsive to suggestion as that.

That's brave. I don't think I could do that. I didn't want to leave my road bike locked on my roof rack to go into the mall to see a movie. I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the movie. I'd be wondering about my bike the whole time.

I think it was the guilt to be green, at a place priding themselves on being "organic." I'll see how it works out today, they were out of eggplant yesterday.
