Will benadryl not work with allergies? The dogs I used to sit for took it and it helped with the itching - a lot cheaper too.

Cheryl we tried Benadryl and it did absolutely nothing for Shadow. The steroids worked really well but with the liver damage she can't take them. The new med is an anti-histamine. Fingers crossed.

This is the worst I have seen it for Shadow. Other years I have been able to control it with medicated shampoo, but the company that made the one that worked is out of business and nothing else that I have tried has worked. *sighs*

Just got off the phone with the vet. Yay! Liver number is only slightly out of the normal range! Whhooo-hooooooo! A different liver number did go up slightly, which is why she is back on the Denamarin. 30 days and we go back for what will hopefully be the last round of blood work.

Yay for Shadow.

I use Dr. Bronners peppermint soap on my dogs. It's the only thing that seems to help them. They don't have any major allergies but they don't go around scratching like they did with the other stuff I used. I get it at the health food store and I've used it on myself as well. We don't have flea problems here but it's supposed to be good for that too - or I should say the peppermint flavor is good for that.

Did she have any problems in IN ?

Cheryl the miniature I saw peppermint soap I thought OOO I want to try that I was happy to read on and see that people can
How refreshing does that sound after being hot and sticky all day

You can find it at a health food store. If not, they can order it for you but all the health stores I've been to, they carry it and in different fragrances.

ok so after all this Waffle house talk guess where we went to lunch

So of course I had to ask "hey how come they don't call the orders out in the sw fl WH's
OO she said they are suppose to it is company required !! unless it is very busy then they all give their orders to one person who then calls them out

So now wonder the food wasn't great if they don't follow the rules on something as simple as order placing well who knows how they are on company food prep rules

rofl I know I need a life
