Karla do you have a sprinkler system you could set on a timer? I think if you do that, set it to come on at a certain time, right before the frost hits, it will protect them.

Fuzzy there is a method the growers use to "ice" strawberries and citrus but they stay up to monitor
I Have in the past when there has been a frost used the hose to rinse off the frost before it could cause damage

I have an idea of using flexible pipe and fabric to sew a kind of tent I can just pop over the plants that way it will trap the heat as it is released during the night
