Pattie you can use whatever you like, fat free would work. I also use the fruit frozen, makes for a very cold drink!
Guess what? I took a nap and when I woke up I had a message. The Allen County Bar Association FINALLY called me for an interview, being as it is after 5:30 I will call her tomorrow to schedule it! Not a job offer but at least an interview

Yeah, but then it's not a smoothie, it's a shake!

One of my most requested treats is the fruit salad I make by just taking pineapple--canned, since you need the juice to keep the fruit from turning brown, and whatever fresh fruit you have on hand, like bananas, apples, grapes, kiwi(?) and mix that with a cup of yogurt, throw in some raisins if you like them, and it's a great fruit salad. I've been using crushed pineapple lately for a different texture with all the fruits. If you have a food-chopper-upper it would probably be super easy!

Oh Fuzz, I used to make one quite similar to that. My kids loved it! It works if you like nuts too, I used to add walnuts to add to a Sunday big dinner. In the winter time when us northern people could not buy fresh fruit very cheaply I used to use the canned fruit salad, I think Dole makes it.
Yummy, I am dreaming of having a smoothie tomorrow morning!
Thanks Evey, the job sounds perfect but I can't get myself too excited and blow the interview.

All these good things. If I hadn't just eaten, I'd be hungry!

Yes, Sandy....You can't get the job if you don't get the interview. Best of luck.

I just saw a orange julius at one of the malls I was at, can't remember if it was in Ft. Wayne or if it was in GR during Christmas......Either way too far for a run to get one
Oh I just googled it and found the recipe for orange julius! Lots of sugar in it though, and it is still around found lots of places and it is sister company with Dairy Queen (no wonder it is so good).
