Wish I could help with the puppy thing.
Oy vay....Wasn't Friday the 13th last week??? First, Bumper gets sick all over the place, but I can't find the first spot. Well, I did later..on our bedspread...that I just put on the bed a week ago (luckily, I'd put away our "good" one). Yep, it went all the way thru to the waterproof mattress cover. TG for that. So....I stripped the bed, washed all the bedding and put it all back on. Oh, well, that's done.
And DH worked outside for most of the day, came in to take a hot shower and...guess what we're shopping for tomorrow. Yep. A hot water heater. Just when you get things back in line, something else comes along and whaps you up 'side of your head, ya know??

Hey all! I was at Kims most of the day and am feeling pretty tired so before I head to bed I thought I would quick post.
Cheryl, I can see putting Lexi in a Kennel when you are taking a shower, working outside, busy with company but not all day long. I guess the Pet forum might have a better understanding of this but I never did that when I was home. Otherwise how can you put them outside to go potty. You will have accidents but she has intelligent breeds in her, she will catch on quickly.

Some of the people were saying to keep them in all day but to take them out every couple of hours for potty breaks.
What I did today was crate her while I took a shower and then crated her this afternoon for about an hour to get her more used to it. Personally, I cant see the point of crating a dog all day and all night all of the time, especially when I'm home 95% of the time. It worked out today too.

Cheryl make sure to make the crate a "happy" place. Give her a treat and say something like "go to your house or bed" as you put her in with lots of "good girl" She will soon come to realize it is a great place for her to go when she needs a nap or just her "own space" My friend had me laughing when I was over and she told her puppy "go to your house" and the dog opened the door and ran in
I am with the others on putting her there when your not able to keep an eye on her but I am not a fan of the all day
Pattie I am glad MIL is ok and it wasn't a stroke
also did you check to see if you just need to replace the heating element in the Water heater
We had that happen a couple of years ago because the water is so hard here the minerals built up on the element
I called in a plumber but found out after it is a easy DIY fix N.N. hubby replaced theirs and he is not at all handy
Connie glad to hear Billy is done traveling there and you got to speak to him
Hey I am with you on wanting to ask "when will you be home"
ok more house drama to borrow eveys **shakes head**
We agreed to paying up to 3% of closing costs up to a certain amount but now it seems as if there was "extra" money left so it was used to buy down their interest rate
I flipped out I asked our Realtor "since when is buying down the rate normal closing costs" I also told him I had gone above and beyond the normal things sellers do so Him and the other realtor need to fix this
He sent the buyers agent a email asking why the rate down was done and she responded with a "tap dance " email saying how what was done on the HUD was done to make this happen and what the lender did any lender would do to make this happen to keep this transaction from falling apart "
That does not answer the question on why there was a rate buy down with our money since when do you have to buy down the rate to qualify for a mortgage
no wonder in her email to the buyers she said "your payment is $20 less than expected, that should make you happy"
Yeah it is lower because of the rate buy down with someone elses money
damn I hate being pissed at 4:30 in the morning
I am not sure if it will be me or my realtor calling the lender for an explanation of this rate buy down requirement but I will be getting an answer
hmmm I am thinking conference call !!!
She then went on to say any changes will jeopardize the closing

I suggested the heating element thing, but it didn't fly.
Cheryl, I wouldn't think it would be a good thing for a dog to be in a cage all day. Poor thing. That's just me.
Karla, I would be more than pissed too. That whole thing just doesn't make sense. Tell the lender tuff noogies.

Had a nice chat with the lender
He explained it in detail. Due to debt to income ratio it was the only way the loan would go thru
So I can complain and the sale won't close or I can tell CD this is what it is and be done with it
lol want to guess which route I am going
