I did get my hair washed and when I got home my friend next door blew it dry & flat ironed it
it made me feel like a person again
don't know why I was having a lot of pain yesterday so pretty much took it easy
I can't wait to see ortho doc on wednesday I need him to swap the pain med out for one that won't chew my stomach up I tried taking just advil and that doesn't help
relaxing day on the books for today I think we might grill
We didn't get rain yesterday but have a good chance today
Our temps are cooling down as I sit here. Storms blew in last night and began the cool down, but you could still feel the humidity. Now 3 hours later I can feel the coolness in the air, will be a very pleasant week
No walk this morning but I have spent the last 2 hours job searching, e-mailed them to myself and this afternoon I will spend 2-3 hours applying for them. Gotta get this family on a two person working budget, this one person payday is not getting us back into business. Sigh, I hate budgets!
I didn't sleep very well last night and I am dragging this morning.
Shadow, Mickey & I have been for a quick walk this morning. Later some of the kids are coming out and we are all going to ride. Then plop on the couch for the NASCAR race this evening.

Today I did a short cardio/weight one, that's all for me today. It's hard to get the time to myself to work out on holiday weekends.
Do any of you ebook readers have libraries that offer them? Ours does now, which makes it a lot more attractive. I was thinking about one for my MIL but thought that she'd have to buy the books. She is a voracious reader, and it would be a great alternative for her rather than heading out to the library when it's 20 below zero. I assume it's user friendly?

Whew. Company's gone. It's nice to have our nice, quiet house back. How in God's name my SIL and her DH are raising 3 grandsons at this stage of their life is beyond me. God bless them.
