Morning!

Krisp and frosty here this morning! We were supposed to have snowshowers last night and this morning and I don't see where it happened so I am a happy camper about that

Just waiting for the sun to come up before my walk and am adding some type of waist exercise to get at my stubborn, won't tone with walking waist. I've noticed lately that it is getting a little flat, so this is just to tone up what nature does to us seniors

Thanks for the thoughts last night, I know everything will work out and I just have to learn to shut my mouth and let them figure it out, kinda hard to do with him, my girls I have learned to do this, him I have always told him what to do (kinda his good natured attitude to let me do this). He is a man and I have to realize that he/she will do what is best for all of them.

Work today from 12 to 4, and I am going to begin cleaning for the holiday, my sister is a compulsive neat freak and I want everything just right for our holiday dinner. I'm getting a 22-25 lb turkey and right now we (sister and I) are wondering if we need a turkey breast too. I always want more than we need so am leaning toward not having an extra turkey, hopefully I am right we have some hearty men eaters here that day!

Best get and throw on jeans and sweatshirt for the walk. BBL. Have a good one all!

LOL...I have to laugh. Len insisted on getting a 24 lb. turkey for our dinner...there'll be 6 of us. The neighbor who rents out the house next to us said we could use the fridge for a day or two, but I'd have to plug it in, so I'm not going to impose on her that way. He wants to let people take leftovers home with them.

Just got back from taking my new friend Carol around to show her the area. Did a bit of shopping. I thought she'd drop when I pulled out my 5 coupons for BB&B. SHe thought you could only use one per trip. I got a bunch of stuff for the house for T'giving and Christmas. It was fun.

That was my exercise for today.

I went to the dr. this morning. I was feeling pretty good till she told me "Do not gain any more weight." But I just lost 13 lbs. over the past few months. "You were BIGGER???" Oops. Seems my weight a year ago was 1 lb. below what it is now. But I"m doing well otherwise.

OK, gotta run.

Hugs, all.

Hey peeps!

Bbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! We got all the way up to 35 today, and the wind chill has been in the low 20's all day.

Do any of you suppose that the above factoid kept my dog from insisting on a massively long hike through the hay fields this afternoon? So glad I have Carhartts.......

I am just plain old tired. I am guessing it will be an early night for me tonight.

Hmmm...gee, Evey, I doubt it would have anything to do with Shadow's reluctance to hike thru the fields. Did you bring her winter coat with you when you moved???

Oh gosh I am with Evey cold has come upon us and I am freezing! We had spitting snow today also, nothing that would have stuck to anything but still cold enough to come down. We will see what the weekend holds, Kim asked me to go to the Santa parade and if it is this cold I will refuse and get my grocery shopping done instead.

Pattie do the bendy sidy thing, it helps and I do it all around, in front and back too. I would cry if my doctor said that to me, kinda rude to say it that way

Stomach flu going around at work, two of our girls were out today and we only had one full day person show up. I asked why I did not get a call to come in early, heck I sat and read after I got my walk and exercise done. I just hope it passes me, I do not do well with stomach problems.

Actually, she's a very kind person. I really like her as a dr. and she's been voted one of the best OB/GYNs in SW Florida. I think she was just surprised. Fingers crossed the flu flies by!

As long as you two have a good relationship and she is a good doctor I guess she can be surprised. I would not be surprised if I get a line or two about my weight on Tuesday when I see my doctor.
