Remember the job hubby posted for? The first one they wanted the person to be local, so the hiring manager re-wrote the job description so it would be here

Well yay he got the job !!!
Everyone signed off and his current boss approved his "release" so he got the official offer email from HR
There has to be a "transition period" so the new job starts June 16th

He had to laugh when his current director told him "you know your irreplaceable"
He wanted to say "I have been telling you all for the last 3 years that you need to let me train a back-up person"

Now that it is official he will start letting folks that use his programs know
Oh to be a fly on the wall for this

Today I have to get to the post office and get payroll entered

Might do a bit in the yard before the afternoon rain they are calling for arrives.
Not expecting it because we got so much yesterday lol I am sure the bubble over the neighborhood closed back over

Another yucky day here. When will the rain stop?


Trying to get rid of a headache, then I will jump on the treadmill, and maybe go and cut a tree down for my stepdaughter.

Lisa it is doing basically the same thing programing it will just be for a different division. The nice thing is he will be part of a team instead of the whole team.

Did my 4 miles this a.m. Getting muggy here, even first thing in the a.m. We've had some rain over the past few days, which is nice - things are starting to look green again.

Today I did a 10 minute upper body plyometric workout--just a few minutes ago, actually, dang those are intense.

Cheryl I saw on your FB that your going VA
the guys who bought CD's house went VA. the VA delays they experienced were from the Realtor so you might want to question who is causing the delay

Hubby said thanks for all the congrats

His new boss called him and said "now thats it's official lets chat"
He is sending him a new laptop with docking station and 2 monitors
and asked if he wants to fly or drive up there when he has to go for the week

I had to chuckle because his start date is June 16th so he won't be going up there until after that
My luck they will have him fly up there the same week they are doing the kitchen install
