Default 40 in 4 challenge

Need a bit of a push?

Brief description:

40 workouts in 4 weeks. This is geared to people who want to ramp it up a bit and get results faster than usual.

You decide what counts as a workout. One workout should be at least 20 min. A 60 min high intensity workout will count as 2 workouts, 45min only counts as one. 60 min walk should only count as one if you are fit but it can count as 2 if you are a beginner. You set the pace, your heartrate should be elevated during your workout sessions, however you can count golf as a workout if you need to. Go at your own pace, listen to your body, push yourself but don't overdo it.

The idea is to become more active and burn fat, and what better time than now? You will be working out anywhere from 5-10 hrs per week. Don't go over 10hrs.

Clean up your diet, no junk food, eat a salad per day, drink lots of water, cut carbs after 5pm or 3pm if you are picky.

Take pictures today, each week you will take a photo of yourself and you will be amazed at the changes your body will have. You must take a before photo, it is the best way to track progress. Don't step a foot on the scale!

I'm in, are you? 4 weeks will pass regardless, do you want to watch me get fit or do you want to join me?

Let's do it. Share your story with us, we can track our progress and motivate each other. You don't have to do this alone.

Those plyometric workouts are killer. I would join your challenge, but I can't do anything regarding foods right now because of some crazy problems with pain in my tongue, throat and ear and not knowing what at any fgiven time I wll be able to even eat.

Yikes. I hope you get that figured out soon. I'll be here for the next few weeks, cheer me on and join me when you can.

you might want to ask to have this thread moved to the general exercise and fitness thread.
It would be seen by more people
