Default Saturday's "Odds & ends day " exercise thread

Good morning Happy Saturday and happy last day of June

They are saying we could have H/I of 105 today

Hubby has a haircut at 10 and I want to stop by my sisters new house

Might start looking at the kitchen cabinets to see what to pack up in "probably not going to need" boxes
Do I really want to wait until the last minute to pack it up or do a bit every day

I need to pick a day soon where I have a complete day off it has been a long time since I have done this

I am surprised with all the rain we got that the lawn hasn't grown by leaps and bounds so doesn't look like we have to drag the mower out in this heat

What fun things are you all doing this weekend

Morning all!

I walked already and dragged Max with me, lol he wanted to stay on the loveseat and cuddle with Macy! I've got quite a bit on my list today, but the top is do laundry and clean our bedroom. The rest can be put off until tomorrow or Monday.

Yesterday was my last day working for the "drill master" TG! Not that I want a smaller pay check mind you! We had bagels and cake for the managing atty who is leaving us, he was actually the person who initially interviewed me and is such a nice person. Middle sized firms are different to work for than what I have ever experienced, most people stayed at the firms I have worked for, and this one appears to have growing pains.

I'm puppy sitting again, T and girls are out in Holland for the week. Bob and I have to work so we get stuck with pups (T's boyfriends parents cottage is where they are, and they (parents) don't like the dogs out there).

Karla we are hot up here too, looks like we dodged the bullet yesterday tho, Thursday was hot, humid, yucky, but yesterday was wonderful. I think it was close to 90 but very nice, little humidity.

I'll drop back later, have a good one all.

Good morning, all.

I had all good intentions of doing a gym run this a.m. but Lazy Susan really took over.

We seldom see anything over the mid 90's, but the humidity really makes up for it. Supposed to be around 93 here today. I'm pretty sure there's a pool visit in my future today.

I made an appt. for Monday a.m. with the personal trainer. I'll let you know what she says.

Tomorrow, we're going to Sebring to meet up with DH's sister and his uncle. Since we're going to be on the road, I called my mom today. I'm usually in NY this time of year, and I got a few "hints" about coming up to do something, etc. Oy vay.

Have a great day, all. Keep cool, wherever you are.

Wow Pattie a personal trainer? Do you have access to one of those through your community? K had a couple of visits to a personal trainer through the Y a few years back, and he was a slave driver but she did firm up. I didn't care for the diet he had her on, but the exercises were very good for her.

Are you still going up north for vac toward the holiday's?

Sandy, she lives in the next cul-de-sac. She's only $15/hour and the first consult is free. I told her I want to pay her for the first because I can't afford right now to do a weekly or bi-weekly program with her. I just want her advice on how I should proceed. She deserves to be paid for her efforts and I didn't want to mislead her in any way.

Still have my plans to go north for T'giving and Mom's b'day/niece's wedding day. I bought the tickets, so, barring anything serious, I will be going.

Sounds like a plan with the trainer Pattie, how many people would love to have someone that reasonable.

ANd I thought that was your plan with going north

Just got back from the grocery store and man I am going to have to give up eating! Prices are high and higher I just spent 160.00 on next to nothing.

Oh talk to me about meat, with my meat guy Well we are going to begin having meatless meals whether he likes it or not! Bad thing is he won't eat most veggies nor fish!

Man it is hot outside, only 90 but the sun is so hot that I just burnt the bottom of my feet on T's deck.

I just had a happy moment! I was reading about southern printing and the company that laid Bob off in AL (and caused him so much grief, I may add) has gone out of business. I knew it would happen, but heck when they closed they only had 20 employee's. Goodness that makes two businesses he has worked for that went down the drain with the economy.

Pattie I wish Bob would get away from steak and red meat (actually I cook lots of Chicken) but alas his childhood was based upon it and you can't teach him new tricks. Lol, speaking of his childhood, his mom sent me a birthday card, first one in 3 years!
