slept in till 6:20

Today is body pump and then spinning class at the gym

I have a feeling it is going to be an interesting weekend

Hey, Karla. Gosh, I haven't been first to talk to you in a while!

I did the gym thing. Had a good workout. Hubby's still not feeling too great, so I went alone. It's sticky out there again this a.m. Maybe a quick bike ride before it gets too bad.

Hmmm...weekend. There's a craft show at the Civic Center going on. I think we'll hit it tomorrow. I would like to get out to the pool today too. They were cleaning the furniture there the past 2 days, so we weren't able to go. I sure miss it! We're invited to a friend's house for pizza and "adult beverages" tomorrow night, so that should be fun. I've been dying for pizza, so this is my excuse. We just hope it's not a bad one. Oh, well...we'll live, right? Hold the anchovies, and have a great weekend, all.

Wow...nobody else has checked in yet???? This has to be a record.

Anyway...did 20 min. on my bike. Too humid to do any more. But then I channelled Karla and went out and weeded and pruned for about 1/2 an hour. I even got dirt under my fingernails. EEEUUUU!!!

Hi all
lol guess what ???

It's raining again pouring actually
had to get the "thunderstorm drugs" out for the one dog poor thing

well this morning was my first combo of body pump then spinning
whew lol

Actually the spinning instructor said it is a very good combo to do, the body pump builds muscle and then to go right to spinning for the cardio/fat burning and it will also help rid the body of the lactic acid
well lol I told her we shall see tomorrow, if I can't walk I am going to hunt her down

right now I am laughing my self silly
good friends of mine in Texas sent me 2 wonderful bouquets one of flowers and one of balloons for my birthday
lol Lola has never seen balloons so she thinks it is some scary thing here to attack me
she keeps going into the dining room growling and barking "I will save you mom" lol

hopefully she will be use to them by the time hubby gets home or I can see them getting a new home in the guest room

thanks for the reminder about Columbus day I had forgotten and have to go to the bank so I will be sure to go tomorrow

What to do this weekend. I think I will drag my butt to the gym in the morning. Saturdays are usually a "teachers choice" day. So you never know what it will be till you get there. May be step, may be spinning, yoga...who knows.
I have to try to hack into my gym locker. I have a mental block on the locker combo and used to keep it taped to my car keychain. Then my middle son turned 16 and took over my car and tore off my combo. I was actually evicted from my car. He cleaned out all my stuff and took over. I had been saying all winter I would buy myself a new car when he started driving, so he just moved into my old one. I haven't been in my locker because all I keep in there are my racquet ball racket, balls and shoes and I only play racquet ball in the winter. But I think my locker rent is due...maybe I should not pay it and Let them hack my lock off.
Raining and in the 60's here in MN. My hair is curly today! Supposed to be in the 80's tomorrow. 80's in October in MN, what's up with that?

Busy, busy and even busier That just about sums up my weekend of paintng the inside of the house. I can only do that though, once all the carpets have dried out. I'm currently marooned in my kitchen, surrounded by a sea of damp carpets!

Got a lot done in my garden the last two days. The front bed actually looks like one now Hopefully by this time next year I will have a brand new bed dug and planted and will be working on felling some really awful pines.

Anyhoo, back on topic ... went walking this morning!

This weekend? MOVING! Finally! We are renting a house that the owner can't sell (no mortgage, but holding out for the $$ paid in 2005). Sooooo not looking forward to all of the work, but sooooo very excited about getting out of here.
