It was GORGEOUS today here in Connect-the-dot, USA. Was planning on hitting the gym after grocery shopping this afternoon. But, I stupidly left a case of water on the bottom of the shopping cart. I drove *right* back, it was less than 5 minutes - but it was gone. I drove back home, irritated as all get-out, and unpacked all the groceries. Grabbed the mushrooms to return, because it was at the wrong price and I was going to return them tomorrow but I was mad and needed to vent. So I walked back to the supermarket - where they discovered that a good samaritan had returned the case of water to the customer service desk.
I got the refund on the difference in prices for the mushrooms, stuffed them in my pocketbook, and walked home - carrying a 24-bottle case of Poland Spring water alternating between one shoulder, the other shoulder, and balancing it on my head. Round-trip walk = 1 mile. So I walked half a mile while lifting around 25 pounds.
And THEN - I rode my bicycle up a short (but steep) hill on the street behind my house, which I discovered has been paved since last year, yay!
I'll hit the gym tomorrow
