Cold here Karla, I have all body parts covered with warm clothing!!!! I turned the heat on last night too.

Well we had a fab time with the kids and Miss Estella gave me a gift when she left, a wonderful cold. I got my flu shot anyway on Monday because no fever or stuff, but yep my voice about goes everyday at work. Oh well, we had fun and she is so cute I could not be mad.

How you feeling Connie?

Karla go girl.

I've once again have to revisit my exercise because it is sadly lacking lately.

I really slept in today, don't know if it's the new 'stuff' or what, and I had a little nausea today. Otherwise, so far, nothing major.

I am shivering cold, and it isn't even cold out yet. Gonna be a long, long winter. I have to come up with a way to keep it warmer in here. Those little hand/foot warmer things are expensive! I was shocked!

Glad you had fun, Sandy, but sorry you got a cold. I got my first ever flu shot on Tuesday, while I was in for chemo.

I just have to get some motivation. Moving will warm me up, too, but it's getting me moving that's the hard part.

Good going on the bike, Karla!

No kidding?! As ridiculous as this sounds now, I have always been really healthy. No colds, no flu in over 10 years. Ha.

I never believed in them, but this year I thought I would give it a try. Last year I got that flu and it was a bad one. I usually rely on fruits and OJ to keep me healthy.

Connie go get yourself some long johns and thermal socks and some slippers. I have to do that every winter, sometimes I put my robe on over my clothes too.

I refuse to wear long johns under my clothes inside my house. As it is, I have on 2 pairs of socks plus shoes/slippers, sweat pants, a t-shirt, sweatshirt and sweatsuit jacket. INSIDE. That should be enough. I realize I'm a money pit thanks to my medical bills, etc. but I don't think wanting the thermostat on our ancient furnace to be past 70 makes me a diva. An extra 3-5 bucks a month on our heating bill won't put him in the poorhouse.

Connie they have thin silk longjohns that are toasty and lightweight
But I am with you on raising the thermostat
I decided once I had my own Heat/AC I would never be cold or hot.

We had to turn the heat on this weekend (yeah lol it got that cold in Florida) we leave it between 70 & 71
Our houses are not as insulated down here you can feel the cold coming from the ground to the kitchen and bathroom tiles

Sandy I have been lucky (knock on wood) I haven't had more than a slight cold in the past 2 years what I fins really amazing is they didn't turn into bronchitis like they normally do same with my allergies I will give total credit to the fact that Im not smoking
