I just got a call from our agent, and we have another showing this Sunday! I am not getting my hopes up this time, but am staying positive. The last couple had just started looking, loved the house, but still haven't made any decision. Here's to hoping this couple is farther along in the process and looking to buy now. We are one of the few in the area that made the decision not to take our house off the market for the winter, a common practice up her, so hopefully it will pay off! Now I get to put off the cleaning another day so the house will be nice and fresh for Sunday.

Why is it that you folks move around so often???
Okay one point is you have different climates, I can understand that. In Germany you only have the 4 seasons so either like it or move out of the country .

Did a lot of cleaning today, played lots with DS. He's in bed now so I'm free to join you although unfortunately not for the pizza...

Also did the weekend grocery shopping today.

Will do some ab work in an hour. My cold is slowly retreating and I'm feeling better already. Maybe it's good to sweat all the bad stuff out .

Well, for whatever reason our 15 year old septic failed and needs to be replaced. Now we can only hope the buyers don't walk, and if they don't, another 20k+ to replace it. I thought this was a safe place to come and cry about it. Keep you all posted. Jeannie

Oh no jeannie! $20K sounds like an awful lot to replace the system to me. Is that because you live in a union state?

The interview went o.k., I guess. These people want someone who can walk on water. I was candidate number 14 out of 52 that they are interviewing.

Sorry to hear about that septic tank situation. Can you get a second opinion-or price shop? What a bummer.
Well, I didn't do too much as far as workingout today, just not feelin' it, as they say. My stupid refrigerator is really messed up, everything in it is frozen, I turned it down which didn't help. I am not a happy camper. Have a good weekend everyone, and try to stay warm-we're really in for it!

Well, according to our realtor this inspection company is top notch. She also feels that maybe the septic was installed improperly because 15 years just shouldn't be. The upside of this? The buyers are still interested, we're still moving to NC in March, we weren't given a death sentence and best of all, my husband and I are on our way out the door for lunch and cocktails...I know it's early but I really need one.

Wow Jeannie, glad to see you are staying positive! You just never know what an inspection will turn up. When we get to that point I will be a nervous wreck as our house is 150 years old!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works out and that Evey will get the job!
