Wednesday 11/19/2008:

HIIT sprints for 2.25 miles. Sprints at 8.5 mph/ walks at 3 mph. One minute alternating of each.

3 sets of 10 arm curls with 15 lb free weights
3 sets of 10 squats with 15 lb weights
3 sets of 10 sit ups on slanted sit up table.
3 sets of 10 crunchy frogs
3 sets of 30 second super man holds
3 sets of 10 medicine ball side to side crunches
Lat Pulldown: 55 lbs.
Seated Leg curls: 70 lbs.
Leg extension: 70 / 85 lbs.
Seated row: 55/ 70 lbs.
Chest press: 40 lbs.

Ran 4.3 miles. Walked 1 mile.

What a disaster of a couple of weeks exercise wise. Turns out I really hurt my foot (could barely walk on it for over a week) - it's still not 100%. Then we went away for Thanksgiving, and then I got probably the worst cold I have ever had. I'm still recovering from that. I am not letting it completely de-rail me though.

I am 3 days back into it. I'm doing less than I was because I still feel kind of weak from the cold, and I still can't run on my foot. But at least it's something and I am building back up.

Monday:

6 miles on the bike (with HIIT)

3 sets of 10 arm curls with 15 lb free weights
3 sets of 10 sit ups on slanted sit up table.
3 sets of 10 crunchy frogs
3 sets of 10 medicine ball side to side crunches
Seated Leg curls: 70 lbs.
Leg extension: 70 / 85 lbs.
Chest press: 40 lbs.

Tuesday:

10 miles on the bike (with HIIT)

3 sets of 10 sit ups on inverted sit up table.
1 set of 10 arm curls with 15 lb weights.

Wednesday:

2 miles on the Elliptical machine
4 miles on the bike

3 sets of 10 sit ups on inverted sit up table.
1 set of 10 arm curls with 15 lb weights.

Last week I only made it to the gym twice.

Both times I did 10 miles on the bike and 1 mile on the elliptical machine. Also walked to and from work 3 times for a total of approx 8.4 miles.

Yesterday (monday):

4 miles on the bike.
3/4 mile elliptical machine.
100 sit ups.
2.8 miles walk

Today (Tuesday) 12/23/2008:

1 mile on the treadmill.
2 miles on the elliptical machine.
8 miles on the bike.
100 sit ups.
10 modified push ups.

NOTE: I cut out sweets and almost all sugar on 10/20/2008.

I had sweets for the first time on 12/19 and 12/20/2008. 1 fun dip and 1 small bag coconut brittle.

Will eat sugar and sweets on Christmas day and the weekend of 27th Dec. Then no sweets again.

15 seconds dangling like an idiot from the pull up bars.
