Thursday's "Go figure " exercise thread (gym, workouts, running)

Morning all
Well wouldn't you just know it is raining this morning
The "roof crew " wasn't able to finish last night because they were short 1 bundle of shingles.
So they said they would be here at 8 this morning and would be out of here by 10
Well that doesn't look like it is going to happen
So needless to say I am not in a real "happy camper" mood

This "project" is no longer fun

If this rain continues all day that means I have to board the dogs for another night adding another $100 to my "roofing experience bill"

I have a feeling I am going to be doing some "tension ridding" on the elliptical this morning

They ran the big rolling magnet over the grass twice yesterday so we should be in good shape

Not quite yet, Karla. Sorry to hear about the rain.

Say, I was going to ask you if your elliptical had turned into a clothes rack.

We walked to the gym, did about 20 min. workouts and walked back. Feeling kinda blah today. Must have caught those January blahs. We might go to a movie this afternoon - Defiance. DH is really into WWII, so he'd like to see it. Last night he watched Kill Bill Vol. 1. I could not handle that movie to save my soul.

Welll, I hope all are safe and sound. When is that lousy weather ever going to break up north??

Hey Karla and Pattie!

I just had 15 mins of a self-choreographed step workout. At the end I had some really bad feeling leg exercises. I needed a break and thought to check in on you.

Today wasn't so great b/c DS caught a really bad cold and we spent most of the morning sitting at the doctors'. I believe nearly all of the kids were sick because it was so stuffed!
I'm glad he's sleeping now b/c he was sticking to me like a post stamp today. Poor baby. Hopefully he'll be better tomorrow.

Okay, off to do some more exercises and watch the food network while doing so...

No gym today. I had a bunch of running around to do before the weekend. I'll be going tomorrow and Saturday morning though.

This afternoon I am going to do some more work on the drawing I started. Before that it's the usual housework fiasco. I'm trying to make sure that everything is done incase my hubster doesn't have to work Saturday. I want the whole weekend to spend some good quality time with him and our son. I can see sledding in our near future!

Sorry to hear about the rain Karla. We're getting some more snow but nothing major.

Oh, boy, today only did the abs one and part of cardio sculpt-talked to my son off and on-not a really good connection over there, but I will take what I can get. Now I have to hurry and get ready for a dentist appt. Oh yippee.

Hey peeps!

Got home a couple of hours ago. Have not stopped moving since I got here. I had to shovel 8 inches of snow so that I could park & unload enough stuff to have enough room to go pick Shadow up. Then I shoveled some more so that I could park someplace besides in front of the fire hydrant. We will unload the bulk of the stuff tomorrow.

We drove in some bad rain & wind yesterday in southern GA and we stopped just north of the KY border for the night. There was ice all the way through KY and then snow in IN so it was pretty slow going. I am wiped out.

We saw over 100 GA Power trucks on their way to KY to help try to get the power back on. There are some 400,000 folks in KY without power. Luckily we have power here.

I am going to go collapse now.

hey how is the hubster liking all the snow

Well the roof crew boss came by around 9am and with the rain expected all day they rescheduled the finish for this morning

they did however remove the dumpster and I borrowed one of their magnet bars and spent 40 mins out the rain hosing down the driveway and checking the back for nails, I am glad I did this because I found some they had missed.

I went and got the dogs around noon I am so glad to have them home
