ok so you all know it is freezing here this morning and the same for tomorrow morning but a quick look at the forecast next week shows mid 70's

Maybe "Ma Nature" is going through the "change"

No school today because they have prepping for the up coming fcat testing

So the woman I teach with and I are going to meet for lunch to discuss the rest of the class schedule

If it warms up a little I may do some walking around the Towne Center I will take my gloves and ear band lol and chapstick

It looks like the 2 remaining Monarch may emerge today, I can see them clearly. I just know they are going to wait till I walk out the door I might have to put them in the butterfly house on the breakfast nook table while I am gone just in case. I wouldn't want them to start flying around the house.

Whats new in your neck of the woods

Morning peeps!

It is 2 here this morning, but we will be in the mid-upper 40's for the next 5 days.

Shadow & I bundled up and walked this morning. It is trash day so there were all kinds of good things to sniff and she was bound & determined to find every single one of them.

In a few minutes it will be time to get covered in paint.

It's still cold here, but that beautiful sun shining through my patio doors makes you feel like a million bucks! It also happens to be where I have taken up residence while doing my artwork!

Gave my abs a good 15 minute workout this morning. I think I'm going to pay later Also added skull crushers to my arm workout. It made a difference.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Skull crushers??? Tet, you're not going postal on us, are you???

Way too cold here to do anything but hang around in your sweats and do (gulp, gasp) housework.

Just made my reservations for my "vacation" to NNY in July. Let's hope it's warmer this coming year than it was last year. I froze the whole time. Just like I am now.

Hey, Karla....wish you'd taped yourself chasing the sheets around your yard yesterday. I think I'd have liked seeing that.

Strange you Floridaians are having the cold weather. It's in the 50's here today.
That would be pretty, watching butterflys in the house. I love that mental picture. Have a couple of drinks and enjoy it as in oh look wow, I have butterflys in the house now. Wouldn't that be relaxing? I'm talking weird today, more so than normal.
Anyway, I've slacked off on exercise this past several days. I need to get motivated again.

That's a WAY better theory than that global warming crap!

Tet-what are skull crushers and how do they work your arms? Like, are you putting somebody in a headlock or what?

Today I turned on a cardio workout-some guy named Bob from the Biggest Loser-I swear, one of the women on there looked like she was going to either cry or die! Then I did the abs workout, too.

Oh Karla-do you have a video camera you could train on your Monarchs? Capture it on film, as they say.

Have a good one, everybody.

HEY!! No slacking you!!

Its not even 11:30am here yet and its 59 degrees with expected rain. It was 80 degrees just yesterday and I was exercising outside and taking pictures of the honeybees on the lemon blossoms.

Default Skullcrushers

Tet,

Good for you for incorporating a great (and somewhat advanced) exercise into your arm routine. It really works your triceps.

Here is an example of a skullcrusher:

Barbell Lying Triceps Extension "Skull Crusher"
