Happy First Day of Fall !!!!

Though I don't think they got the "memo" down here it is suppose to be 90 with the "lovely" humidity we had yesterday wow I just checked and it is 88% humidity right now

I saw on the news that had snow showers in Colorado Springs CO
lol if the thread is late tomorrow that is because I am on my way there


Woo hoo today we go back to school with our JR MG program
This year we not changed to Tuesdays but we are in 3rd grade so we will have new teachers.

After school I have a list !!!
I have to find a birthday present for my brother and stop at Home Depot to get the handle flush thingy for the toilet so I can remove the hanger that is the temp fix

Morning peeps!

Shadow, Mickey & I have been for our cookie walk this morning. Later we will head to the barn to hunt mousies, ride, and teach PE.

DH either took the camera on his road trip or he left it at the barn. So, Shadow & I picked up a few leaves as we were walking this morning and we have scanned them for your viewing pleasure.

Evey, thanks for sharing the beautiful leaves. That's about as close to autumn in the North as I want to get!

Karla, you should probably patent that flushing mechanism.

I had to get some stuff from the local Chamber of Commerce - my "oldest" (meaning in how many years we've been friends, not her age!) friend is coming down from Massachusetts in about 6 weeks, so we're trying to find a B&B for her and a nice restaurant to take her in Port Charlotte - and I went to Target for a couple of things. It was so nice to go out by myself for a change, I did enjoy it. Not that I don't enjoy DH's company, but once in a while it's fun to wander up and down aisles without someone pushing you along.

Another hot and humid one here, too. It sure was weird seeing snow in Colorado on tv this a.m. Hey, aren't you glad you don't live in Atlanta?? Two FEET of rain! Holy cow! If only we could spread it around a bit for them.

hi everybody, did the thirty minute cardio workout and that's about it for today. I played basketball with Billy last week for a while, just shooting, passing, no running and fouls or anything like that! and I felt so sore for DAYS after that, like I haven't been working out at all.

Ooh, Karla, your brother sounds like real Mr Fix it, like my DH. We got the new stuff for our toilet innards and a new handle, but he never put it on--but thank God he never took the old one off, or we'd be doing the same thing!

Hi everyone.
Seems like everyone is staying on track. I haven't been exercising the past two weeks, so I didn't log in. I know I can still visit here, I just haven't.
Someone got me involved on FB on one of the games and I got side tracked. lol
The good news is I have lost 12 pounds as of today, just doing the w.w points. I guess the weight drops if you do that, since I haven't exercised. I have moved furniture and weeded.
Hopefully tomorrow I will be back on track and get to my Zumba class.

Evening all, no exercise tonight! I'm making dinner and then it will be the rush to get a bath in before NCIS is back on tonight. One of my favorite shows.
Evey, believe it or not we have a change in colors here in Birmingham. I was real surprised that we had this many trees with leaves on them, after NC and most of the trees were pine! I could care less if I have another tall pine in my yard again after living there. Anywho it is nice to see the colors, thanks for thinking of us.

oh lol I have to share this chuckle with you all
So I go into H.D. to get the toilet stuff, this guys asks "may I help you".
So I start with how I need the black plastic thingy that attached to the inside of the toilet that pulls the chain attached to the stopper on the bottom of the tank, because mine broke off.

rofl he looks at me and says "oh,you need a new handle"
well lol I didnt know it was the handle

So now the replacement handle is sitting on the kitchen table for who knows how long I may have to go make noise in the garage and yell "where do I find the big wrench " tee hee

Maybe if you put the handle on top of the ladder......
