Monday's "where did it go " Exercise thread (sore, gym, toned)

ok it is the 26th of October Am I the only one wondering where the month went

It is suppose to be in the mid 80s all week so I think fall forgot us lol

So it is Monday
I am going to take my new glasses to the ophthalmologist's to have him check the prescription I was meaning to do this last week but ran out of time

Exercise will probably be one on one with the elliptical

Not sure what else I will do today might just go with the flow

So what fun things do you all have planned for today ?

Hi, there. Not sure about "fun" things, but housework's at the top of the list, as usual. It just seems to grow and grow and grow.....

Good morning Karla and nomore..along with all other movers and shakers.

Karla.I am wonder the same darn thing.. This is getting too scary.
I"m afraid I will go to bed tonight and wake up in 2012. Time just whizzes faster and faster.
If I ever get dressed we will visit the gym and play racket ball.
With a mini shopping trip then lunch with DD. we are done her place in VA. Will drive back to DE later this afternoon.

Nomore.......I envy you still swimming in the pool. Ours is closed and I really miss the water excercises and weights. Boy they were great. Really toned me up while having so much fun.
I don't enjoy housework but I love the way it looks when it's done

Karla, he's still trying to figure out what to do with 2 sago palms. Oy.

EM, our pool is open year round. It's terrific. They just turned the heater on because we had quite a cool spell last week and the nights got low. I'm with you. I just walked thru the house and thought, "It looks pretty darned good!" I like not having to do a whole bunch of housework all in one day like I used to when I was working. Now, I usually do one or two projects a day, whether it's outside or inside.

I woke up with a sore neck today, tylenol didn't help at all, but did the 30 minute lessmore cardio thing, and might do some raking, it's pretty nice out. And if I DO rake, I'm going to make it glaringly obvious that NN's leaves need it too. 'Bout time she got out some money and paid someone to do this crap for her. She can totally afford it. But I am still not going to, money or not.

Shadow & I walked early this morning.

Then DH, MIL, & I headed to Ocala to look at houses. Not much luck on this trip. We looked at 8 and only 1 was suitable, but there was not enough parking. I guess thsat makes it unsuitable......

Evening all, just a quick post cuz I am running way behind tonight. Had to rush to the vets tonight before they closed and pick up more of Cassy's meds, they only have two of one of her meds so I have to go back later in the week. The roads are so crazy busy around here that it takes forever to get there and back home.
Needless to say I have not made it to the gym and it is time to get Bob's dinner ready for when he gets home from work!

morning everyone

well the glasses "test" turned into a 3 1/2 hour experience
They noticed some distortion in the lenses of the sunglasses and based on popular vote we decided that I needed different frames on my everyday glasses so off I headed to the mall and Pearle Vision

They are ordering me a new set of lenses for the sunglasses
We found out why I was seeing some blurring in the left lens it is going to take a couple weeks to "retrain" my eyes because I had not been wearing my glasses all the time. It is interesting how your eyes want to see clearer it just takes time for the brain to connect with the lenses. The fact that I had surgery on my left eye when I was little it may take a little longer


lol I think I must of tried on the rest of the frames that I missed the first time but I think I found a pair I like better the 1st ones were a tad "heavy" looking

elizamary is there a Y in your area that has a pool that you could take the water classes in ?
How was the trip back to DE ?

Pattie I am not a big fan of sagos due to their issues with scale plus for some reason I can't seem to grow them just remember they will get big so have him keep that in mind for spacing

fuzzymystic maybe your neck pain is from pain next door I agree it is time for her to stop not opening her wallet if she keeps "losing" the numbers you give her to hire people you might try handing her the phone at the same time you give her the numbers and say " let call them now " !!!!

Evey are you looking for anther "project" house ? is MIL a good house shopper ?

Sandy - any chance that cassys meds are available at your local drugstore ?
I found a couple of Lola prescriptions when she had her bladder stone issues last year not only were available at our grocery store pharmacy but they were on the "free prescriotion" list
the other was on walmarts $4 list might be worth checking
If not you can also ask if they will mail them to you a few days before you run out

We got a nice downpour at 4:30 this morning lol I missed it but hubby woke as it was ending around 5
