Tuesday's "Hug Day" exercise thread
Good morning everyone
It is Tuesday so that means it is school day
Today we are having the kids make the "thank you hugs"
remember the ones we made and sent to fuzzys son
The woman I teach with son just went back so we will send some to him
also those of you that know granny sue from over in "other topics" well her son is in Iraq and I am going to send some of the hugs to her to send to him
OO before I forget fuzzy is it ok to post the picture of your sons roommate holding his hug ?
So since yesterdays "glasses experience" took so long I wasn't able to make it to the bank or the other stops I had planned so today will be another attempt
So what are you all doing today ?

Evey, sorry to hear your house hunting wasn't too great yesterday. Are you going for another fixer upper? You did so well on this one.
Karla, thanks for the tips on the sago's. I've learned from this whole experience that it does absolutely no good to give DH any suggestions on the garden. When we started, I told him that baskets wouldn't be a good thing in which to plant, but we had (notice the past tense) baskets. I told him some of the stuff like bougainvilla's would spread something fierce, so maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to plant miniature rose bushes so close to them. Oh, and we really need to trim things down more often and more fully. Now everything is "too leggy and woody". Oh, well. So I let him go and do what he wants and let life happen. Makes it much easier on me.
I'm really disgusted with myself, but it's my own fault. We have not been eating in a healthy way nor have we been exercising, and my weight is inching back up. I need to literally get up off my butt and start doing something. I know, once I get into a routine, I'll look forward to it. I just can't get myself going. And I feel like doggy doo. Hubby comes home with oreos. I could kill him. But who can resist oreos? Not me. I prefer not to bring stuff into the house like that. If it's not there, I can't eat it! OK, here's the plan. When the sun starts coming up an hour earlier this weekend, I'll start walking to the gym again. That's my short term goal. If he doesn't come with me, that's ok. I AM GOING TO DO THIS.
Thanks. I needed to get that out.
I hope you all have a great day.
Hugs to all on Nat'l HUg Day.

Everyone needs 'hugs'
Hang in there Evey. Your palace is out there somewhere.
My four day weekend was all over the place. I'm trying to catch up today. I've missed some important emails, the house is a mess, and I swear the laundry moved on its own! I need a plan of action as I hate being unorganized.
Pattie I feel your pain. I had to quit the gym because I was having too many problems with my back. Although I walk every day the weight has been creeping back up. Time to get myself back in check. WE CAN DO IT!!!

Did the 30 minute cardio thing, now NN is coming over to use the computer.
Pattie, I am the same way. Dh brings home these ice cream treats from this carry out which he nearly single-handedly keeps in business with his other purchases. I tell him over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. stupid.
Back to business, and yes, Karla, you can post that. I wish more of an effort was being made to bring those kids home, ALL of them, instead of sending more over to replace the ones coming home. Anybody who thinks this is no big deal ought to see what they are living through. Nobody even seems to remember they're there. Makes me sick.
Now, I better go do my stuff. Sorry, but sometimes this gets to me.

Rain, rain go away. Come again another (no time soon) day!
Almost did not get through my 4mile walk. Then I thought about all that sushi I ate for lunch and decided it was probably best to get the job done Speaking of walking, if anyone is interesting, CD poster Charlie has placed a 1,000 mile walk challenge for 2010 on the fitness forum. The more participating the better
Day is half way over but still quite a bit to do. Everyone have a wonderful day

I agree Tet, our Men and Women need to come home, instead more keep going We have a young girl who is volunteering as an attorney in our office, she just got married last month..........her husband is leaving this weekend. My heart just goes out to her, she is so sweat and their lives together just began.
Okay Patti, I will go with you. I am having a hard time staying focused and if you begin in earnest on Monday I will too. Only thing is, I can't exercise until I come home from work and hubby is bad too. Wish he would be better to get me going
Well off to make his dinner, he has tomorrow off and then works until Sat. Yeah, we get a weekend again
Have a nice night all.

Oh, Karla Cassy's meds are just for doggies I already checked and because of what they are he likes ordering and making me pick them up for her. His office tech is nice, if I am running behind she will stay late for me
