Hope you enjoy yourselves!!!
Home sick today, not quite sure what is wrong except I feel like a Mac truck hit me. Hopefully some extra sleep will knock it out of me.
Are we going to have a weight loss/exercise plan? With Thanksgiving (I am assuming the day after Thanksgiving) to be the target date?

morning sandy I hope you are feeling better I am sending you some of our FL sunshine along with 15 degrees
If everyone agrees I think a goal plan might be the inspiration we need to kick start our motivation
lol I think we need to make the target date the day before thanksgiving way to much good food on turkey day I wouldn't want to have any of us feeling deprived
We could even come up with a daily exercise that everyone would do. something like
25 crunches
or
3 sets of the side bendy things
maybe even dancing to 3 of you favorite songs
and so on
something that would take no more than 10 to 15 mins
what does everyone think ?

Well, I thought we already WERE supposed to be working out?! I did the 30 minute lessmore cadio on the exercisetv thing.
Sandy that was ME who was talking about bringing the troops home, although I would imagine Sue wholeheartedly agrees.
Karla, Billy told me today that Nov 1 is the last day they will receive mail there. You might want to double-check with granny sue regarding her son's situation. If you want to post that pic, it's ok. And Guess what it's doing in Iraq in Kirkuk today? RAINING! He said it stinks when it rains there, so much dust accumulating everywhere-well at least there's something to remind him of home!
I have found that a great motivator or deterrent, as the case may be, for not eating those fattening foods is knowing how many calories are in them. For instance, did you know there are 480 calories in a Hostess cherry pie--the latest 'treat' dh brought home for me, the day before was a brownie/ice cream snickers thing. I told him that's it, I'm NOT going to eat them any more. He doubts me. We'll see.
Hope you feel better, Sandy, gotta get scooting.

Fuzzy, you're right; we ARE supposed to be doing it, but we're not and we have to get back on track.
So....how many days till Billy comes home? I've lost track.

fuzzy
a few of us have slid off the tracks of motivation
your so good we may ask you to help "kick us in the rear"
omg the fact that he won't be able to receive mail means he wil be home soon I wasn't sure of the date
I don't know why I thought he had a few more months to go
actually the calorie count can help lol I stopped going to Ruby Tuesdays after they started listing the calorie counts of each thing on the menu you wouldn't believe how many were in a bacon cheeseburger

No, he won't be home until December, late in the month last I heard. They keep ahaving meetings though, fwiw. It takes a while to move that many people and all the logistics and the unknowns like the weather! Maybe this rain will help lessen the chances of dust storms, I don't know. There is no set date, to my knowledge.
