When I got to the spot I was meeting lou i was still out of breath.
I had to laugh when we went past the house on our next pass and it was 4 ducks making the dark mound.
See how things look different in the dark.

I know that reaction...If there's somthing I am afraid of (well, apart from EVERYTHING) it's the dark. Since I live in the forest- no city lights- and in a country which does not have much day light some parts of the year...Yes, that poses a bit of a problem
Like when you see something orangebrown lurking on the meadow and imagine it might be a lion that's escaped from a circus...Never run that fast before, and I still hold the record at 60 meters at my junior/intermediat level school!
Turns out it was only a horse though...

Hm...Like with an Ä? Think southern "a", and even a bit more nasal and your on your way.
And if you don't- not even the towners (from Jönköing) can pronounce it...
Oh, and it's a village. We're 18 (actually mre like 16) people living in it- is that small?
My neighbours along the road always knows when I'm out doing my daily hour walk- if I skip it, I'll hear about it later...

ok everyone I promise I will be good and watch my shoulder.
Maybe the reason the Dr didn't tell me not to do this stuff is I guess he didn't realize I do it. Maybe I don't look like the type that goes around "shlepping" bags of mulch. I just got the new james patterson book so I will read it this weekend

Hello ladies, here's the token male stopping by .
In keeping in line with today's topic of guilt free eating, I did a pretty good job in warming up for that at lunch yesterday with a big plate of penne pasta and a giant salad. Today was even better. At work our company had a giant cookout with tasty burgers with all the fresh tomatoes, onions, lettuce, pickles, jalapenos or whatever else you wanted to top it with. You can bet the whole gang in my group showed up for that. Some pasta salad on the side. Dessert included hot apple cobbler with ice cream, and of course a brownie to top that off! Calories, what calories? I was pretty hungry.
Pedaled the bike to work this morning about 12 miles. Had a flat tire on the way that cut the tire up pretty bad. Fixed that in about 10 minutes and was on my way again. After the lunch cookout, and a short siesta, worked for a couple of more hours and then we all decided to leave early and get started on the 3 day weekend. What a great "work day", free lunch and go home early. Pedaled 16 miles home in perfect 78 degree sunshine with a light breeze moving in from the ocean. Should be a wonderful weekend. Cheers.
