Later on it settled. since then i have sneezed a few times and every time I sneezed there's like a burning through my whole body. and then also my ribs hurt. And for the past 2 days every time i cough my ribs hurt, and even when i laugh. And it hurts like hell when i sneeze. and tonight I got back from dinner and i puked it all up. I go to work tomorrow. what it wrong with me. it doesn't feel like i have a fever.

Fevers are more common with flus (though they happen with colds too; though just because you don't have a fever doesn't mean it's not the flu); if you have a fever and start feeling ach-ey and weak, then it's probably a flu. They're tough to tell apart though. Best thing to do is get lots of rest and drink plenty of fluids (anti-biotics won't help if it's definitely the flu or a cold since those are caused by viruses; unless you're are really young, really old, or have a compromised immune system--before you got ill--I wouldn't waste time going to the doctor).
