Yay! We have our very own forum now. As you check in to tell us what you ate, be sure to tell us what you'de like to see out of this sub-forum. Karla and I will continue to post our threads and there has been some mention of a weekly weigh-in. Any other ideas?

'morningggggggg

I was starving this morning.... 2nd cup of coffee at work and back to my routine of oatmeal, cinnamon, raisins, butter. That's it so far (but the day is young).

They have this list of healthy foods on the MSN food page. Some yucky stuff but they give you recipes too.

The 10 Best Foods You're Not Eating - Diet & Fitness - MSN Health & Fitness - 1 (http://health.msn.com/dietfitness/slideshow.aspx?cp-documentid=100168275&GT1=10316 - broken link)

Maybe we could post "healthy foods" links and/or share recipes, or group plan what we will each try to get in as a healthy meal each week????

I have this really nice digital glass scale at home I bought a while ago.
I found out that depending where I place it, I can be either very slim or very heavy. I think I'll leave it in the slim spot. :-)))

This morning:
Raspberry and ginger flakes
walnuts
two bottles water

I like the idea of swapping healthy recipes, vp. I have a few I could share and always want to add to the collection!

I'm having a bad day So don't mind me. but the candy bowl is winning, and it's just making my headache worse!

I ate lasagna for lunch. with a package of crackers, and an iced tea. not sure what is on the menu for dinner yet tonight.

AK - It was a good idea. Things were getting cluttered in the main forum. I hope your day gets better! Couldn't you offer clients yogart covered raisins or something?

LOL I've thought about trail mix or something.. but it seems a little messy.
I popped a piece of mint gum a little while back, and that seems to be working great at keeping me distracted. Oh well, tomorrow is another day... I hear other people saying if it's killing you that much, just have the donut, (or the mini milkyway bar piece, in my example) ...but I wasn't eating it cause I wanted it . I ate it cause I was mad and having a bad day. hehe, lessons we learn the hard way : getting mad and eating just makes you madder!

Perhaps to rectify this I can push the truck home, instead of steering it.

..on the bright side, I don't know if any of you are regulars in the pets forum, but over the weekend we got a new baby bouncing puppy floppy eared floppy pawed beagle !!!! I forsee long energetic (rather high-paced) walks with him till he gets used to the neighborhood. woo !!! Maybe I can walk off some of the candy bowl. HAHA

(((hugs))) thanks for the support as always guys. and I agree with the APs, the thread feels good in the new home.

I think leavingcali had the idea of doing a weigh in. What do you think of having a sticky thread for our plans/goals (where we are... where we want to be... how we'll do it... when we'll do it by). We could continually update it as we lose the inches/weight, or should this be separate? Or too complicated. Overall, we've proposed:

A weigh-in thread
A plan/goal thread
A recipes thread
Our regular exercise/food journals

I've also eaten raspberries and those gross puffs I had yesterday. I'll be eating a veggie and tri-colored pasta salad in a few...
