Default Friday's "Any plans for the weekend?" Food Journal

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Jeannie should be back soon (I think Sat or Sun). We missed her. I miss all the cute pictures she puts up for us. Sorry, I don't know how to do that!!!

What are your plans if any for the weekend? We will probably go out in our boat tomorrow for a nice boat ride. My little dog loves it too.

I had my breakfast so far:
Oatmeal
Green Tea

yogurt for brkfst w/ coffee
black beans and corn for lunch (and a piece of apple pie she mutters hoping nobody hears)
Bought groceries...stocked up on some frozen Lean Cuisines and Healthy choice meals to keep in the frig at work so I don't raid the cafeteria or vending machines.
Cleaned the stinky leftovers out of the frig to make room for the new stuff. Man we waste a lot!
Any good snack ideas? I am getting sick of my usuals (yogurt, pudding packs, trail mix, shredded wheat...) I use prepackaged stuff like the pudding for portion control and convenience.

I like to slice organic apples, put a little natural peanut-butter on the slices and dip them in granola. An all-in one snack. Maybe a little messy, but great when no one is watching!

Today: two eggs with a little salsa, yogurt and granola...

Time to leave work and figure it out!

Roma, I don't know how to do all those pictures either. I can usually copy pictures off the internet, but they have not worked for me here.

I just relaxed yesterday. We have had a stressful but good week. I still don't have my drapes up at the patio window. We did get a lot of other things done. I used my paper shredder so much it got too hot to work anymore. It is O. K. since it cooled down. I have a new clothes washer and dryer that came Tuesday. They are so big, probably twice the size of my old set. I'm retired and we are "empty nesting."

You girls have done a good job while Jeannie was gone. That does not mean that we have't missed her. Just hope she had a great vacation.
