good morning jeannie
I will set the "gimongus" fan up and send you some of out 70 degrees today to help melt it away

Diet pepsi
my eating has been pretty lousy the last few days been eating maybe once a day but I noticed the scale has gone in the good direction

I have 3 months before my nieces wedding so I need to crack down and get on track and post here daily so I will stay away from the bad stuff and make sure I eat 3 times a day so I won't get the "hmmm looks like she has put on a couple" from those relatives( we all have um) at the wedding

You can send that snow down here on a railroad car like they used to do.
Coffee and milk
banana
2 strawberry eggo's

There was a front coming across the mountains last evening. It is already at the ocean?? I missed that one--while I was sleeping.

Jeannie, maybe you just needed one more Spring in NJ. We are having crazy weather. The trees are getting new baby leaves and I saw wind snow on the way to the aquatic center on Wednesday. After the boy in Raleigh got the snake bite, I have stopped my prunning. I don't share my yard with snakes. I was in an area in my yard the other day where the leaves were almost up to my ankles. I guess I am just lucky.

Jeannie, you don't usually find snakes in established developments, but we are in the country where each house has at least an acre of land and there is a stream down the street. Snakes like water, so try to find a house away from the water and let your animals drink inside. Snakes are sometimes attracted to animal water bowls in the hot summertime. I see about one snake per year. We have a resident black racer. They kill other snakes and rats and other undesireable things, so we keep him around. Do not put mulch around you trees. Snakes like to hide in mulch. I was prunning in our "100 acre woods" that is really thick. I will tackle it again next year.

Remember the house you showed us with the wetlands nearby. My first thought was "snakes." Not trying to influence you, just educate you. We basically have three snakes to look out for copperhead (he is mean and sneaky), water moccasin (not agressive at all, make noise, he leaves), rattlesnake (he gives a warning before he strikes, I have never seen one except at the museums.) That copperhead is the one we have to watch out for. Just keep your entire yard so you can see the ground. Copperheads like to hide under things such as cucumber vines in the garden.

According to the thread I read, the little boy that was bit was in the woods playing. By the information given, it sounded like a copperhead or a water moccasin. It was on the hand, so they were taking him to the hospital. He will probably be all right. I have to go back and recheck that thread. Don't pay any attention to me, snakes just terrify me. I raised two children who played everywhere and they survived. When you see a shake, just leave it alone and run! My problem is that I have trouble running anymore. My bones are getting old.

First snake of the year

NCN,is your area very grassy. I can see my alergies, when I lived in Kansas City,Missouri, I was sneezing all day long. Actually right now the flowers are starting to bloom and my nose is stuffed up all the time.
