w00t w00t, Friday arrived!

Busy weekend ahead of me so I probably won't check in tomorrow and on Sunday.

Tonight I'm going to a dance show with my aunt and hubby. It'll be about the strange and crazy life of the Marquis de Sade. Already looking forward to it. The website promised a spectacular evening with great costumes and fabulous music.
Hmmmmm, what shall I wear?!?! The never ending question of nearly every female on this planet

No breakfast for me today, I did splurge too much in the past days.

Lunch was a triangular pita bread stuffed with red and white cabbage, tomatoe, cucumber, iceberg salad, grilled slices of lamb and herb and hot sauce. YUM I'm so full, won't need anything big for lunch.

some leftover yogurt for snack

Have a great day all and an even better weekend.

All those on the tornade lane, stay safe!

Good morning! Slept in a bit this morning, must have needed it. Last night we all went to the Outback for dinner, my 4 kids and hubby...and as if that wasn't enough, came home and had sweets. Today I'm going to behave. Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk......have a great friday! Jeannie

Good morning... great Friday.. starts a three day weekend!!

Diana... seeing as it's Marquis de Sade... maybe something in a colorful leather... with a whip??

NCN - Watch those fire ants and for new mounts!!! Once the rain stops and it starts to dry out.. that's when they move and make their new mounds/nests because the ground is so much softer.

I'm not going to mention breakfast because I fell so far off the wagon ...

Lunch is just going to be fruit, Special K bar, and maybe some peanuts if I'm hungry.

Good morning Autumngal, BB, Diana, Izzy, Judi, Jeannie, and Steve. Diana thanks for starting us up. You get up so much sooner than most of us.

Mr. VA was finished with his workweek yesterday, so we went to Lowe's and bought more fire ant poisoning! It is so much easier to spot the mounds right after the rain. They appear brown above the grass. This will be a weekly thing until they are gone.

Sorry I obsessed about the rain. I just hate being stuck in and it is so incredible to me that others are having so much trouble and we are just fine. My nephew and his wife in Des Moines were the same way when the flood came there. His wife told me that they were fine (back when it was flooding) but she could drive a mile and hit water. Water is such a powerful force.

What was really funny was the conversation Mr. VA and I had one morning when I was deciding whether to go exercise or not. He would say, "You could go____, no there is a creek there, but maybe you could go________, no there is a low place in the road. I am thinking that maybe we should buy a boat. We are on high ground with a lot of low ground surrounding us. I decided to stay home where it was safe.

Coffee and milk
yogurt
banana

Izzy, by the time Rance has his wedding there will probably be no sign that they ever had a hurricane. Things get cleaned up pretty fast. Florida is more used to hurricanes than we are.

Diana enjoy that show enough for all of us. Did I tell you that we saw Andy Williams and Ann Margaret when we went to Branson? They still had it! Come to think of it, you are probably too young to know who I am talking about.

Steve, one meal at a time and a fresh start every meal. We know you can do it.

It is sunny and I have only one little scab left, so we are going to water exercises. Happy day!
